Osseointegrated Dental Implants

Dental implants are a one-stop answer to replacing missing teeth. This is a permanent solution and more and more people are opting for dental implants. Implants can be used to support crowns, bridges and also dentures.

Almost all dentists are qualified to perform dental implants. They don’t need a special license for it. Of course for more complicated implants dentists often refer you to specialised dentists like maxillofacial surgeons, prosthodontists or periodontists.

The technology of dental implants has improved so much that if the procedure is done well and skilfully, one cannot tell the difference between real teeth and artificial teeth.

Implant Dentistry Procedure

    When under local anesthesia, the bone would be exposed where the implant is to be done. When the bone is exposed the implant would be placed slowly into your jawbone.
